About Fête en Noire
Fête en Noire is the dark side to our popular summer celebration Fête en Blanc. The purpose of Fête en Noire is to party through winter by offering an experience filled with merriment and a few naughty surprises. As with Fête en Blanc, our goal is to bond our community, give to charitable causes, and create an event you’ll be talking about all season long.
This Year’s Fête en Noire
On January 27th, 2018, we coaxed Lancaster party-goers out of winter hibernation to join us on the dark side at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania for a night of mystery and intrigue. A roaming contortionist, belly dancers, and a cabaret-style performance all graced the stage. The night continued with a live art auction, food samplings from nine different vendors, and full bar service and ended at Altana for an after party.
Dear Fête Goers and Event Sponsors
Thank you for making our very first Fête en Noire an overwhelming success! You laughed, you danced, you cheered, and you did it all in some pretty incredible outfits. I hope that you had the time of your life as you emerged from your winter hibernation to join us in celebrating.
As with any new event, the black party required detailed preparation in order to reach fruition and we appreciate your kind words and support as we navigated through our first year of this experience. Our team dedicated endless hours of energy planning Fête en Noire and I could not be more proud of the job they have done to bring our mysterious, sexy, dark party to Lancaster. From the location to the food sponsors, artwork to performers, linens, tables, decorations, and bar service, the journey that had brought us to that magical night, certainly made an impact both on myself as well as our community.
The Fête Committee is the best group of people I have ever worked with. They made this event happen. Building a brand new event from the ground up is very difficult but our team worked endlessly to ensure its success. We always learn and get better with our Fête events and this team will constantly strive to make the best decisions to give you a great experience!
With so many people to thank, the easiest way for me to express gratitude (and hopefully not miss anyone!) was to simply list them all below. We look forward to seeing you all in the spring at our white party, Fête en Blanc, where the fun continues and we are able to offer even more to our charities.
